Instant Pano is a free application for stitching 360 degree panoramas. It can stitch cylindrical panorama only, and accept digital photos captured by normal digital camera and lens.

Before taking photos, calculate photo quantity with the calculator within Instant Pano.


In this test, the equipment used is Nikon D200 and 17-55mm lens. 12 photos are captured in total.


Open Instant Pano and import the above pictures, click "stitch". Then a cylindrical 360 degree panorama is completed.


Save the panoramic image to local. The panorama image can not be viewed with photo editors, but can only be used in Tour-hosting.com to create a panoramic virtual tour.

Create virtual tours online

Tour-hosting.com is a new service offered by Easypano, which makes online creating of high quality 360 degree panoramic virtual tours possible.

To make a virtual tour online, simply upload 360 degree panoramic images, either spherical one or cylindrical one, and still images, to tour hosting platform and create a Flash virtual tour.

Basically there are three steps to complete a panoramic virtual
tour.

First, create an account in Tour Hosting user panel, and this is
free. Enter necessary information in "My profile", and this will
be displayed in the virtual tour.

Second, click "create a tour" and enter introduction of the virtual tour. Click Next to go to step 2 and upload panoramic images and still images from local.

Finally go to step 3 and select a free tour template and preview the tour.

For active subscribers, the tour can be published and posted to any website. The finally published virtual tour will look like above, click the image to view.
